Welcome back fellow Headbangers to another exciting write-up! Today we are introducing the all new Marucci CATX2, the next line of Marucci baseball bats! In this write-up we are going to break down what is new about the CATX2 and what you can expect from this game changing bat.

The CATX2 series will be for all segments of baseball including T-ball, JBB, USA, USSSA and BBCOR! Let's break down what's new starting with the one-piece alloy, going into the connect and finishing off on the full composite.

One-Piece Alloy

AVAILABLE JUNE 14th

The CATX2 One-Piece Alloy features patented anti-vibration technology in the knob and endcap to reduce and absorb vibrations from both ends of the bat. The CATX2 is constructed with a ring-free, multi-variable wall design allowing barrel diameters to be built to the maximum limit, creating more surface area and higher overall performance.

One-Piece Alloy Construction: clean, consistent, traditional swing feel

Precision Balanced Feel: produces a lower M.O.I. for speed and control

Liquid-Gel System: patented anti-vibration technology features the optimal amount of liquid-gel in the knob and endcap to reduce and absorb vibrations from both ends of the bat, creating a smooth, solid feel during contact.

AZR Aluminum: responsive, durable alloy provides better feel, more forgiveness, and more performance.

Multi-Variable Wall Design: expanded sweet spot and thinner walls for more forgiving off-centered performance.

Ring-Free Barrel Construction: allows for more barrel flex and increased performance with no "dead" spots.

Custom-Molded Handle Taper: ergonomically designed for each weight drop for a better fit, more bat control, and a better overall feel between athlete and bat. Designed to be easily removable to fit athletes’ preferences.

Enhanced Soft-Touch Grip: debossed pattern creates improved feel and control.

The CATX2 One-Piece Alloy Baseball bat is offered for T-Ball, JBB (-10), USA (-11) (-8) and (-5), USSSA (-10) (-8) (-5) and BBCOR (-3) sizes.

Each drop weight of the CATX2 Connect has been optimized for maximum energy transfer, performance, and feel with specific composite handle stiffness and custom-molded tapers. The CATX2 Connect now features patented anti-vibration technology in the knob, connection and endcap to absorb virtually all vibrations for the smoothest feeling bat on the market. from both ends of the bat.

Power Loaded Barrel: end-loaded, high M.O.I. barrel designed for effortless power
Liquid-Gel System: patented anti-vibration technology features the optimal amount of liquid-gel in the knob and endcap to reduce and absorb vibrations from both ends of the bat, creating a smooth, solid feel during contact.
OLS Connection: one-of-a-kind design connects the barrel to the handle from the outside in, creating the stiffest connection available, while dismissing virtually all vibrations on contact for the strongest, smoothest swing yet

S-25 Composite Handle: based on performance data and player feedback, the handle is 15% less stiff than the CATX Connect handle, offering more whip and transferring less vibration on contact

Each drop weight of the CATX2 Composite has been optimized for maximum energy transfer, performance, and feel with specific composite handle stiffnesses and custom-molded tapers. The CATX2 Composite is hotter than ever with an upgraded multi-directional composite barrel design engineered for results straight out of the wrapper. Not just built better, built different.

Two-Piece Composite Construction: longer barrel with a wider sweet spot for increased performance 
Mid-Loaded Barrel: slight end-load, medium/high M.O.I. barrel designed for effortless power without sacrificing swing speed

MDX Max Composite Construction: our most aggressive multi-directional composite barrel design for higher performance out of the wrapper and faster break-in
Sting-Free Comfort Knob: ergonomic, nylon-molded knob provides improved comfort and control
